A product whose schema marks material as required (no default) needs material_id. Bound products (books, brochures, notebooks) need a quantity that is a multiple of copies per sheet, which depends on size and material: on error quantity_not_multiple retry with a value from allowed.quantities. Default finishes are already included; to drop one (e.g. no lamination) pass its group_id in remove_finish_groups (only groups with removable=true) and relay any returned warnings to the customer.
